The islands of Hawai‘i are a special place. Home to the Hawaiian people, the islands act as a time capsule, due to their volcanic origin over a hot spot above the earth's mantle. Because of their remoteness, the Hawaiian Islands have supported various flora and fauna for centuries prior to the arrival of humans, some of which can be found nowhere else on earth. With unrivaled scenery accompanied by the world-famous "aloha spirit," Hawai‘i is a place really like no other. However, because of its specialness, visiting Hawai‘i should be done mindfully. Get to know the locals, bring a sense of humility and wonder, and you'll be greeted warmly. Let me show you the place I've called home almost all of my adult life.
